Quitto Privacy Policy

Quitto helps you price jobs, send quotes, record sales and get paid. It was built so your business data stays with you.
What Quitto stores
Your catalog, clients, quotes, sales, payments, expenses, business profile, logo, signatures, receipt scans and notes. Notes can hold text, steps, measures, links, images, drawings made on images and attached PDFs. All of it stays in the app’s database on your iPhone.
iCloud sync
If iCloud is on, Quitto syncs your data through your private iCloud database so it shows up on your other devices. Apple keeps this data under your Apple Account. The developer can’t see or access it. You can turn sync off in Settings > iCloud and data at any time.
What Quitto doesn’t do
- No account to create.
- No ads.
- No analytics or tracking.
- No third-party code that collects data.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
- No servers of ours that receive your data.
Permissions
All permissions are optional and you can change them in the iOS Settings app.
- Contacts: only when you pick a contact to fill in a client. Only that contact’s name, phone, email and address are copied.
- Camera: to scan expense receipts and pages for your notes. Scans are processed on your device.
- Photos: to choose your business logo and images for your notes. You pick them in the iOS photo picker and Quitto only gets the photos you choose.
- Files: to attach a PDF to a note. Quitto only gets the file you choose.
- Notifications: due reminders, quote expiry and low stock, scheduled on your device.
- Face ID: only if you turn on Settings > Payments > Unlock to confirm payment. iOS checks your face or passcode, and Quitto only learns whether it worked.
On-device intelligence
Turning a client’s message into quote items uses Apple Intelligence on your device, or simple rules when it isn’t available. Receipt totals are read with Apple’s Vision framework, also on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Sharing
Quotes, receipts, reminders and notes only leave the app when you share them, for example through WhatsApp, Mail or AirDrop. The app you choose handles them under its own policy.
Links in notes open in your browser only when you tap them. Quitto doesn’t load anything from them.
Purchases
Quitto Plus subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.
Your control
- Export your data at any time as a backup file. With Quitto Plus, also as CSV and spreadsheet.
- Delete everything in Settings > iCloud and data > Delete all data. This removes it from this device and from iCloud.
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on the device.
Children
Quitto is made for adults who run a business and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
